Company History
The Jiangnan Environment Protection and Research Academy was established in 1993 and it was then that it began its research into desulphurization. Currently, the Academy holds 14 desulphurization patents and has the sole right to use the 11 desulphurization patents of the East China University of Science and Technology. In addition, the Academy holds the sole intellectual property rights to the ammonia absorption desulphurization technology in China.
After many scientific breakthroughs by the Jiangnan Environment Protection and Research Academy, the Jiangnan Environment Protection Engineering Construction (JEPEC) Company was set up in 2003. It was these breakthroughs that helped in the construction of many successful projects in Yunnan, Jiangsu, Henan, Tianjin, Hubei, Chongqing and many other areas. The by-product from the desulphrization process, ammonium sulphate, meets all the national standards in reducing pollution, creates many social and environmental benefits.
At the beginning of 2007, the JEPEC Company was renamed Jiangsu Century Jiangnan Environmental Protection (JCJEP) Company. JCJEP Company established its headquarters in Nanjing, and at present employs a total of 140 scientific research personnel and project managers. Among these, more than 85% have graduated with Bachelor's degrees, as well as 2 Doctors and 5 Masters graduates, 20 people of which are appointed in high-level technical positions, the main manufacturing base is in Zhenjiang and employs 60 people, with a workshop area of around 6000 m².
